Peak Outdoor Guide started with a simple frustration: too many "best hiking gear" articles are written by content farms, not hikers. We wanted a place where every recommendation is backed by actual use — not just spec sheets copied from a manufacturer's website.
We test gear across real conditions: multi-day trail runs, wet weather, cold nights, and long-distance wear. When we recommend something, it's because it held up — and when something doesn't, we say so.
Our content also lives on TikTok and YouTube (Oddity Odyssey), where we share quick, honest gear breakdowns before diving deeper here on the site.
We've been hiking the countryside for years now — long walks followed by a good pub lunch (and a well-earned pint) is pretty much our idea of a perfect day.
